If you rigorously do one, while excluding the other, your weight loss regimen will be a flop and you will hardly notice any visible change in the way you look. With so many risks of being obese then now is the time to get started. Now a day there are a plethora of weight loss exercises available, that will spoil you for choice. Select those you like, enjoy or are comfortable with in consultation with your doctor and fitness instructor and jump on to the weight loss bandwagon. Yoga Though many people say that yoga is not beneficial for weight reduction in case of severely obese people, many hard core followers will swear by just the opposite. Some yoga postures or asana that you may find helpful in losing weight naturally are kundalini yoga and yogic kriyas, archer pose, warrior pose, hatha yoga etc. Kundalini yoga consists of arm raising, jogging, pacing, deep squats, jumping, and dance and shake moves, abdominal exercise, etc. Follow up your yoga practice with shavasana. As a beginner, retain your yogic pose for half a minute to one minute, then increase the time and repeat. Apart from these you can try out power yoga which is extremely popular as a weight reducing tool, ashtanga yoga, vinyasa yoga, sun salutations. You will sweat a lot after doing these exercises, which means they are beneficial. Aerobic Exercise This alone won%u2019t be that beneficial, but if you combine it with power yoga, it will reduce a lot of weight. You will also want to consider buying a heart rate monitor too so that you can take it to the "next level". Exercise Resistance training, weight lifting and muscle building exercises are the best ones to lose significant amounts of weight. Some also swear by vigorous cardiovascular exercises. If you are aiming at losing a lot of weight, because you are severely obese, increase the amount of cardiovascular exercise. It will increase your lung power, build muscles and as a result, the calories inside your body will be burning throughout the day. Run for an hour a day. Running outdoors with your dog or your family members is much more enjoyable and motivating than running on a treadmill indoors. Swimming is excellent for losing weight fast. Cycling will increase the strength of your leg muscles and burn up calories. An hour of brisk jogging or walking once in the morning and once in the evening, doing household chores, climbing the stairs instead of using the elevator, dancing are all beneficial. Play your favorite sports like tennis, cricket, football, basket ball, volley ball, golf (without the cart), baseball etc. Hit the gym. Don't overdo your exercise routine. It will cause more damage. An hour of vigorous sweat inducing exercise, 4/5 times a week is more than enough. Take the help, guidance and advice of your fitness instructor at every step.
