Exercising can be a lot of fun so try not to see it as some sort of punishment.  Most people who join the gym because the want to lose weight end up not going back after a month or two.  They only see exercise as a way to lose weight and then get fed up.  Try to find a form of exercise that you enjoy and can give you a sense of satisfaction.  There are so many different types of exercise you can try out such as weight lifting, boxercising, running and even hill walking.

Everyone can get involved in exercise no matter who you are.  Even if you are old, pregnant or in a wheelchair.  You should of course make sure that you talk to a doctor if you are at all unsure because you might have to be careful about over exerting yourself.  If you are new to exercising you might want to try something a bit more relaxing such as yoga or pilates.
